Physical Requirements Clothing PPE:
Ability to wear personal protective gear (which may include, but is not limited to, composite toe shoes, gloves, headwear, face masks, hearing protection, fall protection, high visibility clothing, and/or safety glasses)Communication:

Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point) About the Role How you will contribute As a forklift driver you will be responsible for unloading/loading automotive parts from trucks and bulk containers. You will be lifting parts that come in bins, racks, and pallets and be responsible to put them on appropriate shelves in the warehouse.- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped.
- Working in a fast-paced environment you may use certain types of equipment such as stand up forklift, sit down fork lift, pallet jack or tugger to transport product to and from production lines and to load and unload trailers.
- Work in a traditional warehousing type environment responsible for navigating narrow aisle ways and are expected to execute precise routes throughout the warehouse involving driving backward and making sharp turns.
- Utilize scanners to accurately store and transport parts to storage areas and production according to standard work instructions.
- Organizing facility or warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times. Your Key Qualifications
- Prior forklift certification preferred.
- 6 months or more experience driving forklift.
- Ability to perform repetitive duties like getting on and off the fork lift many times within the designated parameters of standard hours.
- Ability to work safely in a safe environment; without risk to health or safety, or the health and safety of others.
- Ability to communicate and work in a cooperative manner with all employees.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
