Forklift Operator and Material Handler Job Description Operate multiple types of material handling equipment, including sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers. Move, stage, and organize materials throughout the warehouse and production areas. Pick and transport materials to support production and shipping needs. Ensure accurate handling of inventory, materials, and product locations, and load and unload materials as needed to support operations while following all safety procedures and equipment guidelines. Proficiency in shipping, receiving, order picking, and inventory control. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions. Comfortable working 12-hour shifts consistently on weekends. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred. Ability to safely operate equipment in a fast-paced setting. Work Environment Work shifts are Friday to Sunday, from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, in an extremely clean and temperature-controlled manufacturing site with potential growth into a 3 million sqft campus. Steel toe shoes and safety glasses are required and provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
