Full Job Description Schedule:
6:00 AM - 2:30
PM Job Summary:
Come be a part of the TKE Receiving Department. Forklift will be responsible for unloading trailers in Receiving and delivering material to the production line.
Responsibilities:
This position requires forklift operator to operate handheld scan gun and be able to scan and deliver the material to the proper location. Some heavy lifting is involved. Banding and shrink-wrapping material is required for material going to the production line or warehouse. Safely loading and unloading trucks for delivery using all PPE and dock safety equipment. Perform daily forklift check list. Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly fashion according to 6S standards; good housekeeping is paramount Promote a safety conscience work environment as we work towards zero safety incidents Ability to work together with all staff as a team. Assist in counting inventory. Performs other job duties as may be assigned
Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a lift equipment certification Knowledge of elevator and escalator systems or work in a manufacturing facility is a plus Working knowledge of computerized system or computer skills is required Knowledge in Warehouse Management System is a plus Software experience in Oracle is a plus Prior Warehousing experience using RF scanners is a plus Requires excellent dependability, the ability to multi-task and must work effectively without close supervision Demonstrated experience of working in a fast-paced and team-based environment Requires lifting parts weighting up to 50 pounds Self-motivation is a sought-after trait A proven record of consistent and fair enforcement of facility rules, policies, regulations Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions #HSM125
Pay:
$21.00 per hour
