Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler/delivery driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment, and ensuring the safe and accurate movement of goods throughout the warehouse. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth warehouse operations, support inventory accuracy, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced distribution environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-organized logistics process while developing your skills in warehouse management and equipment operation. Responsibilities Safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks Load and unload shipments with precision, ensuring proper handling of heavy or fragile items in accordance with safety protocols. Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts Follow OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment. Assist with shipping & receiving activities, including verifying shipments against documentation and organizing goods for storage or dispatch. Qualifications Proven experience operating forklift trucks Knowledge of safety standards in production environments such as OSHA regulations related to forklift safety protocols and manual handling. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and order accuracy. Excellent manual handling skills with the capacity for heavy lifting and sustained physical activity throughout shifts. Prior experience in warehouse supervision or managing warehouse distribution is a plus but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
