This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced distribution environment, where your skills in warehouse operations and equipment handling will keep our supply chain moving smoothly. You'll be responsible for accurately picking orders, operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment, and ensuring safe, efficient warehouse processes. Duties Safely operate a variety of warehouse equipment including reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials. Accurately pick customer orders using barcode scanning systems and warehouse management software to ensure correct shipments. Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety standards in production and warehouse safety protocols. Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to maintain optimal operation and safety compliance. Manage inventory levels through proper materials handling, manual handling techniques, and warehouse distribution practices. Assist with shipping & receiving tasks by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Support warehouse management system updates, barcode scanning for logistics, and overall warehouse operations to maximize productivity. Requirements Proven experience operating forklift types such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, or Hi-Lo forklifts within a warehouse setting. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management practices, and materials handling procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using pallet jacks or other heavy equipment while following OSHA guidelines. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during order picking and shipping processes. Familiarity with safety standards in production environments, including forklift safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics is preferred; warehouse supervisor experience is a plus.
