Shift:

7:00AM

• 4:30PM, Monday
• Friday, with potential for overtime Forklift Operators perform float loading activities to support the distribution of materials to customers and branch locations.

In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools.

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform float loading activities to optimize multiple loads for delivery coordination. Perform material handling and machine/equipment operation duties in a safe and efficient manner to fulfill customer orders and business requirements. Ensure machine and equipment is operating properly. Complete orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage. Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment. Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. High school diploma or GED required. A combination of education and experience may be qualifying. Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane. Education

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
