Volt is hiring immediately for a Forklift Operator in Baytown, Texas . As a Forklift Operator, you will: Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move, stage, and transport materials throughout the warehouse. Perform shipping, receiving, inventory, scanning, sorting, and picking activities. Conduct routine equipment inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all operating procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations. Assist with general warehouse and labor duties as needed to support operations. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 7:00am to 7:00pm The ideal candidate will have: At least 1 year of forklift operating experience required; 2+ years preferred Forklift certification is a plus Valid driver's license required Experience with shipping and receiving processes Ability to lift 55-100 lbs. and work in indoor and outdoor warehouse environments. Basic computer skills Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety Warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing experience Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.

Pay Rate:

$16.50 - $17.50 per hour DOE
