Forklift Warehouse WorkerJob Summary Join our team as a Forklift Warehouse Worker , where you will play an essential role in supporting daily warehouse operations by safely operating forklifts, handling materials, and ensuring the accurate movement of inventory. This position requires individuals who are dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with previous warehouse forklift experience are strongly preferred. Flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shift , as well as overtime when needed, is required. Schedules 1st Shift 2nd Shift Must be flexible to work either shift, overtime, and additional hours as business needs require. Duties Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse. Load and unload trailers while verifying shipment accuracy and preventing product damage. Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment using warehouse procedures and barcode scanners. Organize, stock, and replenish inventory in designated warehouse locations. Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical or safety concerns. Assist with shipping and receiving by inspecting incoming materials, verifying quantities, and completing required documentation. Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and proper inventory control procedures. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and forklift operating procedures. Keep warehouse aisles, storage areas, and workstations clean, organized, and free of hazards. Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals. Perform general warehouse duties and assist in other areas as assigned. Qualifications Previous warehouse experience required. Warehouse forklift experience strongly preferred. Experience operating sit-down, stand-up, or electric forklifts is preferred. Forklift certification is a plus but may be obtained through company training. Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations. Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, and inventory labels. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Reliable transportation and excellent attendance. Must be flexible to work 1st or 2nd shift , overtime, and holidays as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and twist throughout the shift. Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
