Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments efficiently. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and manual counts to ensure accuracy. Pick orders accurately using order picker equipment and manual methods to fulfill customer requests promptly. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation. Conduct routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs to ensure all machinery operates safely and effectively. Follow OSHA safety standards in production environments, adhering to forklift safety protocols and manual handling guidelines. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock in designated areas, performing heavy lifting as needed, and maintaining a clean workspace. Skills Proven experience operating warehouse material handling equipment such as forklifts (including lift trucks), reach trucks, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo forklifts. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and inventory management practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following manual handling procedures. Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes, order picking techniques, and load & unload operations. Understanding of safety standards in production environments like OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations related to materials handling. Previous warehouse experience with materials handling equipment operation and warehouse distribution is highly desirable. Excellent attention to detail for accurate order picking, inventory control, and barcode scanning tasks. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
