Job Description

Shift:
Day Shift (4:30AM- 4:30PM, Monday- Friday) Job Summary We are seeking a safety-focused Forklift Operator to support shipping and receiving operations. This role is primarily responsible for operating small- and large-capacity forklifts to load, unload, move, and stage materials while supporting order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and efficient material flow. The ideal candidate has forklift certification, warehouse experience, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced industrial environment. What You'll Do Safely operate propane or diesel small- and large-capacity forklifts within rated limits. Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments. Move and stage materials for shipping, receiving, and production. Pull and prepare orders using pick lists or work orders. Verify shipments against packing slips and report shortages, damage, or discrepancies. Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts. Complete shipping and receiving documentation as required. Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Work collaboratively with warehouse and operations teams to meet daily goals. What You Bring Forklift certification required. Experience operating small- and/or large-capacity forklifts. Warehouse experience, including shipping/receiving, order pulling, and inventory control. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and ability to perform physical work in a fast-paced environment. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED. Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift. Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and moving materials. Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. Preferred Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments. Experience with inventory systems or cycle counting. Experience handling heavy materials or working around overhead cranes.
