Full Time Note:

All year round work. The participants will be handling Green Bell Peppers, Cucumbers, and Tomatoes by size, weight, color, or condition.

Responsibilities:

Loading and unloading: Moving materials onto and off of pallets, skids, platforms, cars, and other vehicles

Stacking:

Stacking products neatly onto pallets

Inspecting:

Checking the accuracy of product loads

Weighing:

Weighing products or materials

Maintaining:

Performing routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment

Positioning:

Positioning lifting devices around, over, or under loaded pallets, skids, or boxes Quality checks: Performing quality checks on materials Banding and marking: Banding and marking orders

Moving:

Moving materials to the next staging area

Cleaning:

Cleaning and maintaining the surrounding area and equipment

Reporting:

Reporting any equipment or product deficiencies Ensure that items are undamaged. Clean shipping containers. Label items. Pack items into shipping containers. Seal and label shipping containers.

Packer Requirements:

Physical strength and stamina. A high school qualification or equivalent. Prior experience working in a warehouse. Attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills.
