No Description Job Purpose:

Handle the merchandise from initial receipt and organize throughout the facility depending on production/sales needs. Responsibilities and Duties Gather material for daily orders. Scan material into the system. Report any deviation from the plan (shortage or overage). Operate forklifts and move goods throughout the warehouse. Use forklifts to unload deliveries. Stack boxes and materials for storage. Move wooden pallets around the warehouse. Unload merchandise from trailers and arrange it in its proper location on the sales floor, production floor, or inventory warehouse. Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse throughout the day and at the end of the shift. Collect trash and move/fill six-yard dumpsters. Follow all safety guidelines for forklift operation. Perform the daily forklift maintenance checklist. Perform other duties as assigned.

Objetivo:

Manejar la mercancía desde la recepción inicial y organizarla en toda la instalación dependiendo de las necesidades de producción/venta. Responsabilidades y Funciones Recolectar el material para las órdenes diarias. Escanear el material en el sistema. Reportar cualquier desviación del plan (faltantes o sobrantes). Operar montacargas y mover mercancía dentro del almacén. Utilizar el montacargas para descargar entregas. Apilar cajas y materiales para almacenamiento. Mover paletas de madera dentro del almacén. Descargar mercancía de los tráileres y acomodarla en su ubicación correspondiente en el área de ventas, producción o almacén de inventario. Mantener el almacén limpio y organizado durante la jornada y al final del día. Recolectar la basura y llenar o mover el contenedor de basura de seis yardas. Seguir las normas de seguridad para la operación del montacargas. Realizar la lista de verificación diaria de mantenimiento del montacargas. Realizar otras tareas que puedan ser asignadas. United States Additional Notes:

This is a physically demanding job that requires focus and endurance. Additionally, the warehouse is not climate controlled and experiences low temperatures in the winter and high temperatures in the summer.
