The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently operating various types of material handling equipment, including reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and lift trucks, to facilitate the safe and accurate movement of goods within the warehouse. This role plays a vital part in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, and supporting shipping and receiving functions. Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and Hi-Lo forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely throughout the warehouse Perform order picking using barcode scanning technology to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and manual handling procedures Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to maintain optimal operation Assist with inventory management tasks including stock counts, cycle counts, and updating warehouse management systems Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following OSHA safety standards in production areas Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution processes Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks while prioritizing safety at all times Ensure compliance with all safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling Experience Proven experience operating various types of warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and lift trucks Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics purposes Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards in production environments Experience in shipping & receiving operations within a distribution center or warehouse setting Strong understanding of inventory management practices including stock control and materials handling procedures Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to weighing, measuring, or counting stock items Prior experience with heavy lifting and manual handling techniques required for safe material movement Warehouse supervisor experience is a plus for candidates interested in growth opportunities within warehouse operations Skills in equipment repair or maintenance are advantageous but not mandatory If you are an energetic professional committed to safety excellence and operational efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment, we encourage you to apply today.
