Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Yard Worker / Forklift Operator to join our team. The role involves working in an outdoor industrial environment, assisting with product staging, loading trucks, and keeping the yard organized and safe. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and experienced operating forklifts in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. This position may include both equipment operation and general yard labor, depending on production needs. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and material handling equipment, including a 10,000 lb capacity forklift, to move products throughout the yard and facility Load and unload products onto trucks and trailers safely and efficiently Transport finished materials from production areas to designated storage locations Organize and stage pallets in the yard for shipping and inventory Assist with yard cleanup and maintaining organized storage areas Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance issues Follow all plant safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines Assist shipping and production teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliveries Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout yard areas and loading zones Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays based on production needs Requirements Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends as needed Experience operating a 10,000 lb forklift is required Ability to safely operate large capacity forklifts and material handling equipment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the shift Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment Strong attention to safety and organization Reliable transportation and strong work ethic Steel toe boots are required
Benefits Starting Pay Rate:
