Job Summary Join our dynamic logistics team as a yard mule driver and forklift operator! In this energetic role, you will be the vital link in moving freight efficiently within our warehouse and yard areas. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, precision, and teamwork drive success. Duties Safely operate forklifts to load and unload. Moving semi-trailers around a distribution or freight yard Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques while complying with logistics cargo handling standards and safety protocols Maintain compliance with hazardous materials regulations when handling hazmat shipments Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs CDL clase A Excellent understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures and route driving best practices Safety compliance with OSHA regulations Conduct mandatory pre-shift and post-shift safety checks on tires, forks, brakes, and hydraulics. Scan goods barcodes when receiving and shipping.
