In this energetic role, you will operate various types of heavy equipment, including liquid propane forklifts, and pallet jacks, to efficiently load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and materials handling will ensure smooth distribution processes and timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities Safely operate forklift equipment such a liquid propane forklift, and order pickers to load and unload shipments. Manage inventory movement using warehouse management systems to track materials accurately. Perform order picking tasks with various equipment including pickers and pallet jacks to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Assist in shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments and ensuring proper documentation. Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain optimal performance and safety compliance. Support warehouse distribution operations by organizing materials, stacking pallets, and managing heavy lifting tasks. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate daily activities, optimize space utilization, and improve workflow processes. Monday to Friday job Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as liquid propane forklift, and pallet jacks. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and materials handling. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting. Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting, load & unload tasks, and extended periods of standing or walking. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy. Prior experience in warehouse distribution or shipping & receiving environments is highly desirable.
