Forklift Operator (Baytown) Diversified Sourcing Solutions - 3.5 Houston, TX Job Details 11 hours ago Qualifications Forklift Full Job Description Diversified Sourcing Solutions is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support daily material‑handling operations involving super sacks, chemical drums, pallets, and bulk materials. This role requires safe and efficient operation of sit‑down forklifts, attention to detail, and adherence to all plant safety procedures, especially when handling chemicals and heavy loads. Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit‑down forklifts to move, load, and unload super sacks, chemical drums, and palletized materials
• Transport materials to and from production, storage, and staging areas
• Safely handle chemical drums following proper labeling, storage, and spill‑prevention procedures
• Move and position super sacks for filling, unloading, or processing
• Inspect forklift and equipment daily; report any issues or maintenance needs
• Assist with palletizing, shrink‑wrapping, and staging outbound shipments
• Maintain accurate counts and documentation for materials moved
• Support inventory control, cycle counts, and material organization
• Follow all plant safety rules, PPE requirements, and chemical‑handling protocols
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards Qualifications
• 1+ year of forklift experience (sit‑down required)
• Experience handling super sacks, chemical drums, or bulk materials preferred
• Ability to read labels, follow safety data sheets (SDS), and understand hazard markings
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical work
• Basic understanding of warehouse flow and material‑handling procedures
• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and communication Preferred Experience
• Chemical plant, manufacturing, or warehouse environment
• Loading/unloading tankers, trucks, or bulk containers
• Inventory, staging, or material‑tracking systems
• All employees must be prepared for a background check, 5-panel Drug screen, and show proof of eligibility to work in the US.
