Pay:
$13.00 - $14.00 per hour GCMex Imports is hiring a dependable Warehouse Forklift Operator to support daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and material-handling operations at our Laredo facility. This position involves operating a forklift, moving freight throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading shipments, and helping maintain accurate and organized inventory. Primary Duties Operate a forklift safely to transport pallets, freight, and warehouse materials. Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks and containers. Move products to assigned storage, staging, and shipping areas. Assist with receiving merchandise and preparing outbound orders. Verify shipments for correct quantities and visible damage. Help perform inventory counts and maintain organized product locations. Keep aisles, work areas, and storage spaces clean and safe. Notify supervisors of inventory discrepancies, damaged freight, or shipment concerns. Follow company warehouse and equipment-safety procedures. Perform additional warehouse duties as needed. Requirements At least 1 year of forklift experience required. Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, or distribution experience preferred. Ability to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse materials. Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and working for extended periods. Basic counting and inventory-verification skills. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures. Strong attention to accuracy and workplace safety. Spanish required. Work Environment This is an on-site warehouse position involving regular forklift operation, material movement, loading/unloading, and physical activity throughout the workday. E-Verify GCMex Imports participates in E-Verify. Newly hired employees must complete Form I-9 and provide documentation establishing identity and authorization to work in the United States. Employment eligibility will be verified through E-Verify after hire.
