Job Description
Job Summary The ideal candidate is a responsible and safety-focused professional with proven experience operating commercial vehicles and handling large structural materials using a forklift. This role is critical to ensure that materials and finished products are transported safely, efficiently, and delivered to the correct location on time. This position works in a non-climate-controlled environment and may be exposed to hot and cold temperatures depending on weather conditions. Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles.
- Drive company truck to make local deliveries.
- Identify damages and report shortages of material or quality deficiencies.
- Transport raw materials to production workstations.
- Keep updated activity logs.
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities. Requirements
- Must have own reliable transportation.
- Must possess valid driver's license (class C) and have good driving record.
- High school diploma.
- Valid certification to operate forklifts (Preferred).
- Excellent physical condition and coordination.
- Must be detail oriented, punctual, and a team player.
- Must be able to work under pressure, meet critical deadlines and handle difficult situations as required.
- Able to act on own initiative and work as part of a team consisting of members from other departments.
