A Warehouse on the West Side of San Antonio is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join their warehouse team. The primary responsibility of this position is operating a sit-down forklift to safely move, load, unload, and stage materials throughout the facility. This is a hands-on warehouse position. While forklift operation will be the primary focus, candidates should be comfortable assisting with general material handling and warehouse floor duties as needed . Responsibilities Safely operate a sit-down forklift in a warehouse environment Load and unload trucks, pallets, and other materials Move and stage products and materials throughout the warehouse Transport materials to designated storage, staging, or production areas Follow warehouse procedures and all required safety practices Perform routine pre-shift forklift inspections and report equipment concerns Maintain an organized and safe work area Assist with manual material handling, pallet movement, staging, and other warehouse duties when needed Work effectively with warehouse team members and supervisors Participate in overtime when available Qualifications Current forklift certification required Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or similar environment preferred Ability to safely and confidently maneuver equipment in warehouse areas Comfortable performing physical warehouse and material-handling duties when required Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Willingness to work overtime when opportunities are available Compensation & Schedule Starting pay: $19.00 per hour
