Ability to obtain and maintain Forklift Operator certification if not currently licensed. Basic computer skills required for inventory tracking, label printing, and warehouse management systems. Ability to read and follow safety procedures, work instructions, and shipping documentation. Experience Requirements Minimum of 2 years of forklift operating experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment. Experience operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, clamp trucks, picker equipment, or other powered industrial vehicles preferred. Familiarity with inventory management systems, barcode scanners, cycle counts, and inventory control processes. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while meeting productivity goals. Physical Capabilities Ability to operate powered industrial equipment safely throughout the workday. Ability to lift, move, stack, and transport materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and material handling activities. Ability to work in a shipping, receiving, distribution, or warehouse setting. Must be able to pass required background screening and drug testing. Job Duties Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment to load, unload, move, stack, and transport products and materials. Receive, store, and stage inventory to support shipping and receiving operations. Use scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory and print product labels. Complete inventory transactions, cycle counts, and required warehouse documentation. Ensure proper product rotation and inventory accuracy. Perform daily forklift safety inspections and report equipment concerns promptly. Maintain warehouse readiness for customer, FDA, and quality inspections. Communicate safety incidents, inventory discrepancies, and operational concerns to supervisors. Support general warehouse housekeeping and perform additional duties as assigned. You will inspect equipment before use, replenish inventory locations, support shipping and receiving activities, verify product movement, maintain inventory accuracy, and help ensure safe, efficient material handling throughout the facility. A Forklift Operator helps maintain efficient warehouse operations by safely moving products between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas. This role requires equipment operation skills, organizational ability, and safe work habits. The Forklift Operator combines forklift operation with inventory awareness and warehouse procedures to help ensure products are moved accurately and efficiently throughout daily operations.
