Job Title:
Forklift Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating material handling equipment to efficiently move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products within our facility. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Unload inbound shipments and move products to designated locations. Stack and store products using forklifts, push-pull, or other powered equipment. Prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in number and type. Perform picking duties to meet customer service standards. Move products from staging or storage areas into trailers. Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure inventory control and security. Assist in physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation. Conduct cycle counts as requested within the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Essential Skills Attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills. Proficiency in Excel and general computer knowledge. Ability to lift and/or pull 50 lbs. without restriction. Ability to work in varying facility conditions. Flexibility to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Additional Skills & Qualifications At least 1 year of experience with forklifts or warehouse distribution equipment. Willingness to become forklift certified for the site. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fort Worth, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
