Forklift Operator:
Starting at $17 per hour
  • varies based on experience Busy flooring company seeks a full-time warehouse worker. Hours are Monday-Friday between 8:00am-5:00pm and alternating Saturday mornings 9am
  • noon.
Job Description:
Warehouse Workers play a key role in the distribution of all kinds of goods. Warehouse Workers receive goods by unloading trucks. They check the contents of the shipment against a document, which may be either a bill of lading or a packing list while unloading or loading trucks or customer vehicles. Warehouse Workers mark each unit of the shipment with a label and note any back orders on partial shipments. Then they store all of the received items in bins, shelves, on wooden pallets in larger spaces on the floor, or on pallet racks. All items remain stored in the warehouse until someone needs to use them or purchase them. Warehouse Workers perform a variety of other tasks on a regular basis which include:
  • Providing outstanding Customer Service
  • Conduct inventory counts of items on a regular basis,
  • Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse space, including proper care of all equipment
  • Must have forklift experience and be familiar with all warehouse equipment Warehouse Workers perform their tasks indoors, although they may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions while loading and unloading vehicles at an open loading dock.
These workers perform a physically demanding job. They spend the greater part of their day standing and walking. They routinely lift heavy objects that may weigh as much as 100 pounds.
