Job Description

ProLogistix is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator (Sit-Down) for a well-established seafood processing and cold storage company in Burlington, WA.
Shift:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00
PM Pay:
$19.50
Type:
Temp-to-Hire This is a cold storage facility . Associates must be comfortable working in refrigerated, sometimes wet conditions. Primary Duties Product movement — transporting and weighing product between production lines, freezers, and coolers Truck loading and unloading using a sit-down forklift Shipping and receiving — completing paperwork accurately and neatly General warehouse support as needed Working safely in a cold, wet environment ?? Job Requirements Excellent attendance and reliability At least 18 years of age 1+ year sit-down forklift experience preferred Experience in food processing or food manufacturing is a plus Ability to speak, read, and write English Strong communication skills and clear handwriting High attention to detail and ability to perform basic math Ability to work independently and as part of a team Able to lift up to 65 lbs Able to stand for long periods and work in cold, wet environments Must pass a background check and drug test transporting and weighing product between production lines, freezers, and coolers
