Job Description

Summary The Warehouse Forklift Driver safely maintains an orderly and efficient cold storage warehouse. Key Responsibilities Operate a forklift to move totes from production line to the warehouse Ability to load, unload, high stack and stage totes of frozen Enters data and product locations accurately using a hand scanner Read daily order sheets and find appropriate product in the warehouse Loads and unloads trailers on the dock Performs a pre-operation maintenance check on the forklift and reports any operating issues Charges forklift batteries Performs other duties as assigned Typical Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Relevant Experience 1+ years related experience and/or training Other Information Good knowledge of computer systems Ability to safely operate a forklift, loading and unloading trucks, and high stacking totes of product Prior experience in a cold storage warehouse environment Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to balance multiple tasks, be flexible and work well under pressure Ability to work in refrigerated and frozen environments Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision and exercise good judgment
