Forklift Operator Job Description Join our team as a weekend shift forklift operator. The schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6am to 6:30pm. Employees are paid for 40 hours provided they work the scheduled 36 hours and do not leave early. We seek motivated individuals with a high focus on safety, attention to detail, urgency, reliability, and a positive attitude. Responsibilities Operate forklift for material handling with precision and safety. Ensure punctuality and consistent attendance. Maintain high standards of safety and quality in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with a small team to navigate tight spaces effectively. Participate in mandatory overtime occasionally on Fridays. Essential Skills 5+ years of forklift driving experience. Strong attention to detail. Ability to move quickly and efficiently in tight spaces. Comfortable around heavy equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must read and write English. Basic math knowledge and ability to read a tape measure. Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Why Work Here? You will work with advanced machinery, including Multiflute Corrugators and various Rotary Die Cutters. The environment is fast-paced, requiring mental and physical agility, and safety is our top priority. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Renton, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.30 - $24.30/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
