Job Title:
Forklift Operator Job Description Join our team as a weekend shift forklift operator. The schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6am to 6:30pm. Employees are paid for 40 hours provided they work the scheduled 36 hours and do not leave early. We seek motivated individuals with a high focus on safety, attention to detail, urgency, reliability, and a positive attitude. Responsibilities Operate forklift for material handling with precision and safety. Ensure punctuality and consistent attendance. Maintain high standards of safety and quality in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with a small team to navigate tight spaces effectively. Participate in mandatory overtime occasionally on Fridays. Essential Skills 5+ years of forklift driving experience. Strong attention to detail. Ability to move quickly and efficiently in tight spaces. Comfortable around heavy equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must read and write English. Basic math knowledge and ability to read a tape measure. Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a very large facility that experiences temperature variations throughout the year. You will work with advanced machinery, including Multiflute Corrugators and various Rotary Die Cutters. The environment is fast-paced, requiring mental and physical agility, and safety is our top priority. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Renton, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.30 - $24.30/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
