Forklift Operator Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and independent Shipping Associate who excels at getting orders out efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have strong forklift skills and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Basic math skills are essential, as is the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations. Responsibilities Receive raw materials and ship final products. Assist in monthly and yearly inventory counts. Issue materials to packing and perform tasks related to crating and shipping of products. Support Powered Scaffolding Equipment and Accessories. Work independently and communicate effectively within a small team. Adhere to attendance requirements and work on a flexible schedule that includes overtime. Essential Skills Proficient forklift operation, especially in tight spaces. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Basic math skills and independent thinking. Experience in shipping, warehouse operations, packaging, and inventory. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience as a floater and replenisher in shipping. Willingness to work where needed and adapt to different tasks. Adherence to PPE requirements, including wearing a hard hat, glasses, and safety shoes. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will work in a tight warehouse environment with forklifts and trucks moving in and out. The workspace includes bench stations with tools and parts. Expect to lift up to 75 lbs. independently and work in a non-insulated and dimly lit facility. The manufacturing environment supports the scaffolding and wind turbine industry. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tukwila, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
