Full Job Description Business Title:
Fork lift driver
Job Purpose:
To operate fork lift to move products from production to finished goods warehouse, ensuring the efficient and safe driving while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate fork lift. Perform quality checks on finished packaging. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to sanitation and safety regulations. Adhere to production schedules and meet output targets. Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to canning and bottling operations. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production progress and any issues encountered. Assist with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Working hours are M-F 6:30am-3pm.
Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
2+ years of experience in a canning or bottling production environment Experience operating fork lifts in a production environment Experience with quality control procedures Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to operate fork lift Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to sit for extended periods of time Strong attention to detail Good communication skills Commitment to safety and quality
