Shift Shifts:

4am-4pm or 4pm-4am Duties and Responsibilities; PAID, hands on, on the job training. Remove specified fruit from warehouse and transfers to high stack berry dump area via forklift. Dump bins of fruit into hopper to assure continuous flow of fruit through the optical sorter. Responsible for scanning in fruit as well as scanning out fruit. Assures the optical sorter is in functioning capacity. Performs periodic magnet inspection, checks fruit temperature, collects fruit samples. Clean and swab all equipment in the berry dump area and is responsible for overall housekeeping within the area. Properly completes fruit delivery system operator logs and weighs and records waste and over and undersized fruit. Frequent lifting of 20-75 pounds, walking, stooping, reaching, stretching, crouching and standing. Requirements;

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Comprehend procedural documentation and follow detailed processes established through SOP & SSOP's
• Clearly document data both in hand-written and through emails transactions
