By building and preserving affordable housing through new construction, renovations, and home repairs, Habitat LA is transforming communities throughout Los Angeles County. Through access to affordable loans, housing counseling, down-payment assistance, skilled construction training, financial education, and volunteer opportunities the organization has strengthened families, helped stabilize communities, and fostered economic vitality in the region. On average, the affiliate builds and renovates 100 homes in the Los Angeles region each year, ranking it among the largest affiliates nationwide.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) is looking for a relationship-driven fundraising leader to grow corporate support for our mission. As Director of Development, Corporate, you'll shape partnership strategy, manage a team of three fundraisers, and work directly with corporate supporters who want to make a meaningful impact in their communities. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape Habitat LA's corporate partnership strategy, lead and develop a team of three fundraisers, and build relationships that directly support affordable housing across Los Angeles County. You'll see how the partnerships you create translate into homes, repairs, and resources for local families. The position also offers a salary of $80,000-$105,000, eligibility for a bonus, and Habitat LA's benefits package (see below)

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Grow corporate support. Develop and execute a fundraising strategy that expands Habitat LA's corporate donor base, strengthens existing partnerships, and increases unrestricted and multi-year support. Identify opportunities for gifts, sponsorships, events, and volunteer engagement. Build lasting partnerships. Cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate donors and prospects. Learn what matters to each partner and create opportunities that connect their goals with Habitat LA's work. Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and reports that show the impact of their support. Lead a strong team. Coach and supervise three fundraisers. Set clear priorities, support professional growth, and use regular check-ins and performance data to help the team achieve its goals. Collaborate across Habitat LA. Partner with Finance, Marketing, Programs, Volunteer Services, and Habitat for Humanity International to deliver effective corporate engagements. Maintain accurate donor records and ensure gifts and sponsorships meet applicable requirements. Represent our mission. Serve as a Habitat LA ambassador at meetings, events, and networking opportunities throughout the region.

SUMMARY OF JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, background check, credit check, and a driving record check Must have access to reliable transportation to perform job duties, a valid CA Driver's License, and meet the state-required amount of personal automobile liability insurance. Must have a reliable internet connection Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Minimum 7-10 years of progressive fundraising or corporate relations experience, with a strong track record in securing significant corporate gifts and sponsorships. Proven experience managing and mentoring a fundraising team to achieve or exceed revenue goals. Strong ability to craft compelling proposals, presentations, and stewardship materials. Proven track record in cultivating, stewarding, and expanding donor relationships, especially with high-value corporate partners. Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team to meet or exceed collective and individual fundraising goals. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholders including donors, corporate executives, volunteers, and internal teams. Ability to analyze data and fundraising metrics to guide decision-making and report outcomes effectively.

COMPENSATION

Pay Range:

$80,000 - $105,000 Salary offers are based on several factors, including job-related knowledge, experience, and qualifications. They range from entry to mid-level.
