A Fundraising Manager manages fundraising for an organization. Develops and implements fundraising strategies that include online fundraising, mail and email campaigns, grant writing and fundraising events. May develop relationships with large donors.

What You'll Do:
This role leads fundraising and donor engagement efforts for the Seminole State College Foundation. This role is responsible for securing major gifts, cultivating donor relationships, and leading fundraising initiatives that create opportunities for students and strengthen the College's impact in the community. Secure major gifts, sponsorships, and philanthropic support in collaboration with division leadership while identifying funding priorities and prospects. Develop and execute strategic fundraising campaigns, donor engagement initiatives, and advancement programs. Build and steward relationships with donors, alumni, community partners, Foundation Board members, and internal stakeholders. Oversee alumni engagement activities, including leadership recruitment, communications, and volunteer programs. Supervise, coach, and support development staff to achieve fundraising and engagement goals. Maintain sponsor relationships and secure event sponsorships for key Foundation events, including the Dream Gala, Dream Cup, Alumni Legacy Awards, and Celebration of Giving. Manage fundraising operations, including budgets, donor databases, reporting, and representation at community and College events.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution. Four (4) years of experience in fundraising, marketing, alumni relations, or related field. Experience with email and fundraising software applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution in nonprofit management or fundraising. Five (5) years of experience in the Florida State College System in alumni relations, fundraising or related area. Experience in higher education. Why Join Us?
