About us The Social of Greenwood is a 501 c3 non-profit and has been serving seniors in Greenwood, Franklin, and Indianapolis areas since 1979. Our mission is to provide programs, services, and activities that are designed to enhance the quality of life of those 50 and beyond in our community. The Social of Greenwood is seeking a Fundraising Coordinator to join our team. In this role, the fundraiser will use communication skills and a keen sense of initiative to spot fundraising opportunities, develop relationships with potential sponsors, and manage current fundraising events. The ideal candidate will be motivated, professional, and organized. We're looking for someone who believes in the mission of The Social of Greenwood and has exceptional drive for furthering our fundraising efforts as well as strategizing and delivering on new ones. Objectives and Responsibilites of this role :
  • Identifying potential donors, sponsors, and new fundraising opportunities
  • Organizing and implementing fundraising events
  • Designing promotional materials
  • Cultivating relationships
  • Maintaining records of donor information and evaluating the success of previous fundraising events
  • Increasing awareness of the organization's work, goals, and financial needs
  • Managing The Social of Greenwood's social media

  • Ability to lead and motivate colleagues and volunteers
