Marketing Full Job Description Development Manager Position Overview:
The Stable Recovery Development Manager offers a unique and immersive opportunity for an individual seeking to make a meaningful impact in the non-profit sector. The experience will provide hands-on opportunities to support efforts in fundraising, marketing/social media and events to support Stable Recovery. The primary objective of the position is to support and create key fundraising events, donor cultivation, and management. This position serves to support the work of Stable Recovery Development team and capital campaign. It is a unique position that supports fundraising efforts of Stable Recovery and manage tasks within an ongoing capital campaign.Event Support:
- Collaborate and support the Development Director and event committee to plan and execute Stable Recovery fundraising events, including the golf scramble in the fall of 2026.
- Assist with tracing event timelines and task lists.
- Assist with graphic design and social media to support events.
- Assist with procurement for event auctions. Campaign Support
- Support donor recruitment activities
- Communicate with donors about upcoming opportunities
- Track potential donor engagements
- Plan and execute donor receptions, some may occur during evening hours
- Manage donor signage and commitments Marketing Support
- Create capital campaign and organization promotional materials in Canva.
- Support Social media photography and postings per the Stable Recovery Social Media SOP.
- Experience in marketing, non-profit campaign management, communications or related field. Equine knowledge is helpful.
- Passion for non-profit work
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once. Attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Canva and Microsoft Office.
- Creative mindset with the ability to contribute ideas for donor engagement, marketing and branding.
