The successful candidate will be motivated to provide high quality leadership to meet the agency's annual fund raising and capital campaign goals, and will display initiative and integrity combined with a dedication to the values and mission of the organization. This role will include oversight of donor management, donor cultivation and direct solicitation, communications, and event coordination. Responsibilities Ongoing oversight and maintenance of the donor database and processes for communications, including acknowledgements, personalized thank you letters, and alerting the CEO of important donor information in a timely manner Monthly and Annual reconciliation of donor database with Finance Department's records Process tribute giving to meet the donor's intentions and deliver maximum hospitality and customer service Provide donor reports as needed for the CEO or other agency leadership Execute timely pledge payment communications Coordinate fundraising campaigns and fundraising events Coordinate effective direct mail solicitations Lead direct, in-person donor solicitations, in partnership with the CEO Identify, cultivate, and steward donors, including scheduling and conducting one-on-one donor meetings Staff the Development Committee Support communications through community newsletters Performance Criteria Able to develop a cohesive strategy in partnership with stakeholders and execute a shared vision of a holistic development program Able to effectively communicate with key constituents in keeping with the agency's goals and objectives Able to maintain an up to date, accurate donor database Able to coordinate and organize the agency's fund development efforts Able to establish strong, appropriate, good working relationships with staff, volunteers, donors and the general community to enhance the agency's performance and image Time management, prioritizing, triaging and meeting deadlines Commitment to the organizational mission and values Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school or equivelant experience Excellent creative, communication and organizational skills Strong oral and written communciation skills Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in fund development programs Experience with proven success supporting development efforts Experience cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donors Proficiency in MS Office suite and database management Ability to work in cross functional team environment Demonstrated ability to work effectively with leadership Ability to effectively multi-task and manage more than one project at a time Demonstrated ability to perform job responsibilities Familiarity with Jewish traditions and/or multi-cultural understanding
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
