Job Description

SUMMARY The Development Manager is responsible for actively identifying, cultivating, and securing financial support to advance the mission of Seven Homes. This role leads donor outreach and relationship-building efforts and manages grant proposals on behalf of the organization. This position plays a key role in shaping and executing fundraising strategy, in partnership with the Creative Director and Executive Director, while engaging donors, families, churches, businesses, and community partners in meaningful, mission-aligned relationships. All work is carried out in accordance with agency policies, ethical fundraising standards, and Seven Homes' commitment to faithful stewardship.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively identify, cultivate, and manage donor relationships, including individuals, churches, businesses, foundations, and community partners 2.) Research, write, submit, and manage grant proposals and required reports, maintaining a grants calendar to ensure deadlines are met 3.) Develop and execute fundraising initiatives and campaigns in collaboration with the Creative Director, tracking progress and reporting outcomes 4.) Support and execute fundraising and donor engagement events, including key donor outreach and follow-up for major events such as the Annual Gala 5.) Provide transportation to children in the program, on emergency basis. 6.) Maintain accurate donor records, ensure compliance with ethical fundraising standards and solicitation licensing, and participate in required meetings and training More details in full description.
QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including being available for evening and weekend events 3.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills and handwriting. 4.) Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel) 5.) Fundraising experience, 3+ years preferred 6.) A valid drivers' license. 7.) Meet agency drug screen, criminal background, and driving record standards for insurance standards.
