- in partnership with the executive team Carry a personal portfolio of major and planned-gift donors; cultivate, solicit, and steward them through personal calls and visits Oversee all fundraising outreach, communications, and events statewide Supervise and mentor a part-time development staff member focused on events and sponsorships Support the Executive Director with his own portfolio of key donors and stakeholders Maintain accurate donor and gift records in Bloomerang Serve as a member of the executive team and help build a healthy, collaborative team culture What We're Looking For Several years of nonprofit fundraising experience, ideally including major gifts and/or planned giving•or a strong track record of quickly learning and excelling in a new role A genuine relationship-builder who's comfortable making the ask and closing the gift, not just cultivating Detail-oriented•keeps donor records and follow-up accurate and current Comfortable in a small, growing nonprofit•flexible, adaptable, and ready to wear multiple hats Working knowledge of CRM/donor database software (Bloomerang experience a plus) Reliable personal transportation and willingness to travel in-state; availability for some evenings and weekends Compensation & Benefits $65,000•70,000 commensurate with experience Health insurance stipend and retirement match Full-time, exempt, with a genuinely flexible schedule and a supportive, cooperative team culture NAMI Nebraska is an equal opportunity employer.
