Langhorne, PA Department:
Development/Grants Penndel Mental Health Center seeks a Fundraising & Development professional to help grow and diversify our revenue base. This role will focus on securing individual, business and foundation support, with an emphasis on local donors and institutions in Bucks County. The ideal candidate is community-oriented, self-directed, and experienced at building relationships with donors, funders, and small businesses who wish to support our mission. Qualifications (Education and Experience): Bachelor's degree in related field and 3+ years of proven experience leading and successfully implementing six figure fundraising/development activities in the nonprofit field. Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in collaboration with organization CEO Comfort representing a mission-driven, behavioral health services organization Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Familiarity with Bucks County, specifically Lower Bucks County communities, as well as the greater Philadelphia area Grant writing experience is preferred
Essential Job Duties:
Fundraising Strategy & Execution Develop and implement strategies to maintain current individual giving and to grow giving in the immediate future by expanding our donor base and increasing giving levels Identify, research, and cultivate foundation, corporate, and individual donors aligned with Penndel Mental Health Center's mission Design and implement special events that serve primarily as fundraising programs while increasing Penndel's community recognition and presence Community-Based Development Build relationships with Bucks County based businesses and related donor philanthropy Design fundraising campaigns that reflect our values and priorities Donor and Community Engagement Assist with donor communications, including appeals, thank-you letters, and impact updates Maintain accurate donor records and tracking systems Collaboration & Reporting Work closely with the CEO on appeals, outreach, and events Provide regular progress updates, fund raising/financial metrics, and event recommendations to the
CEO and Board of Directors Professional Expectations:
We are seeking an individual who consistently demonstrates a caring, respectful, responsive, and professional approach when interacting with staff and community partners.
