Job Summary Opportunity to work with Huntsman Cancer Foundation (HCF) as a Sigma Chi program manager.
HCF has been the Sigma Chi Fraternity's preferred collegiate philanthropic partner since 2005. Each year the Sigma Chi International Fraternity raises over $5 Million for HCF through events and campaigns across college campuses throughout North America. The successful candidate will be able to cultivate relationships throughout Sigma Chi and act as a professional representative of HCF at Sigma Chi events and meetings, as well as fundraising events and donor meetings.
This position will require up to 50% travel, and cultivate and steward up to 250 Sigma Chi chapters. This candidate will possess public relations/communications, marketing skills, and content creation experience. A successful candidate will have great time management and flexibility to be productive both in the office and while traveling. This position can be open to hybrid or remote depending on the location of the applicant.
Responsibilities Deliver compelling presentations and represent the Foundation at conferences, workshops, and chapter events
Monitor and respond promptly to donors' and fundraisers' phone calls and emails.
Keep accurate and organized records.
Assist with managing and mentoring up to 120 chapters through in-person and virtual meetings.
Manage and strategically grow a $1-3M+ fundraising portfolio across assigned chapters
Encourage participation, increase fundraising commitment, and communicate the mission of HCI/HCF.
Partner with chapter leadership to implement scalable fundraising campaigns that increase participation and overall revenue
Strengthen donor retention through timely follow up, recognition strategies, impact reporting, and personalized outreach
Assist in the planning of HCF's involvement at Sigma Chi's annual leadership conferences/workshop.
Organize and conduct tours of Huntsman Cancer Institute to connect donors and fundraisers directly to mission impact
Prepare correspondence to Sigma Chi leadership and fundraisers.
Analyze fundraising performance data to identify growth opportunities and proactively address gaps
Work some nights and weekend hours during various events and travel.
Additional responsibilities but not limited to this salaried position would include projects to be fulfilled outside the 8:30-5 standard M-F hours.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field plus two years of related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required. Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.

Demonstrated strength in relationship management and donor stewardship
Strong public speaking, communications, and marketing capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, Outlook, CRM systems, and Google platforms
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Ability to work effectively in both remote and travel-based environments
Strategic thinker with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
Self-management, team orientated, must be able to work remotely while traveling.

Understand the culture of Greek systems on college campuses, specifically Sigma Chi
Experience with fundraising, event planning, and marketing
Meticulous attention to detail, excellence written and verbal skill
Proficient in CRM systems (Blackbaud Raiser's Edge/NXT), Microsoft programs (Adobe, Outlook). Independent Troubleshooting, Cross-Platform Adaptability, Digital Literacy Comfortable working across teams and supporting collaborative development goals
