Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Volunteer/Part-time Board Fundraiser to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause by leveraging your fundraising expertise, relationship management skills, and strategic planning abilities. As a key member of our organization's fundraising efforts, you will play a vital role in securing funding and advancing our mission through innovative campaigns and community outreach. This position is ideal for motivated individuals looking to make a tangible impact while gaining valuable experience in nonprofit fundraising and board engagement. Duties Collaborate with board members and staff to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals. Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with potential donors, partners, and community stakeholders through personalized outreach and engagement activities. Support the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns, and public relations initiatives to maximize visibility and donor participation. Maintain accurate records of donor interactions, contributions, and prospect research; ensure data integrity and confidentiality. Conduct research on potential funding sources, industry trends, and community needs to inform strategic planning efforts. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries from donors, partners, and volunteers promptly and professionally. Experience Previous experience in fundraising, development, or nonprofit roles is highly desirable. Familiarity with databases such as Raiser's Edge and/or other CRM software for managing donor information. Strong knowledge of marketing principles and public relations strategies to enhance outreach efforts. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in relationship management with donors, community partners, and board members. Skills in research, strategic planning, and utilizing data to inform decision-making processes. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with a customer service-oriented approach.
