Our mission is to provide safe, structured, and empowering environments for individuals transitioning into a new chapter of their lives. As a growing organization, we are looking for a passionate, driven professional to get in on the ground floor and help us secure the foundational resources needed to serve our community. The Role We are seeking a proactive Fundraising & Sponsorship Coordinator to spearhead our financial growth and community outreach. In this foundational role, you will be the driving force behind securing corporate sponsorships, private donations, and community partnerships.
Please note:
This position is currently an unpaid, volunteer role. However, our explicit goal is to transition this position into a permanent, paid development role once initial funding and sponsorship goals are met. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to build a development department from the ground up and create their own permanent position within the organization.
Key Responsibilities Sponsorship Acquisition:
Identify, pitch, and secure corporate sponsorships and local business partnerships to fund our residential facilities.
Donor Cultivation:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with individual donors, ensuring they stay engaged with our mission.
Campaign Strategy:
Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising campaigns, including digital outreach and direct appeals.
Event Coordination:
Plan and oversee networking and fundraising events to raise both capital and public awareness.
Grant Writing & Research:
Research potential grant opportunities and assist in drafting compelling proposals.
Qualifications Experience:
Experience in non-profit fundraising, sponsorship acquisition, B2B sales, or a similar networking-heavy role is highly preferred.
Communication Skills:
Exceptional written, verbal, and public speaking skills. You must be able to tell our story compellingly and confidently make "the ask."
Networking:
A strong existing network within Utah Valley or the broader Utah business community is a massive plus.
Self-Starter:
Highly organized, independent, and capable of managing multiple campaigns with minimal supervision.
