nonprofit Company Overview Friends of Caroline Hospice is a non-profit organization that has been serving the community since 1980. As the first hospice in the area, our mission is to provide compassionate, quality-of-life care that offers hope and encouragement to individuals nearing the end of life, along with support for their families, friends, and the broader community. Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Donor Development Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for nonprofit fundraising and relationship management, with expertise in developing strategies to engage donors and expand our support base. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact through strategic outreach, event coordination, and data-driven donor cultivation efforts. Responsibilities Supports all fundraising and community engagement efforts of Early Connections, including general operating and capital campaigns, special events, and donor stewardship Develop and implement a comprehensive donor engagement plan to foster long-term relationships and increase giving levels. Coordinate and manage fundraising events, ensuring seamless planning, execution, and follow-up activities. Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce or Raiser's Edge to track donor interactions, analyze giving patterns, and generate reports for strategic planning. Write compelling grant proposals and fundraising correspondence to secure grants and individual donations. Manage digital marketing campaigns across platforms such as Mailchimp and WordPress to promote events and fundraising initiatives. Research prospective donors, estate planning opportunities, and philanthropic trends to inform outreach efforts. Collaborate with volunteers, board members, and community partners to enhance public relations and expand outreach efforts. Experience Demonstrated success in managing and implementing a multi-million-dollar capital campaign. Proven experience in nonprofit development or fundraising roles with a focus on donor cultivation and relationship management. Demonstrated success in event planning, proposal writing, and digital marketing campaigns. Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or Raiser's Edge, as well as email marketing tools like Mailchimp. Knowledge of grant proposal writing processes and budgeting for fundraising events. Experience working within nonprofit management environments, preferably with a background in healthcare or hospice services. Strong research skills related to donor prospects, estate planning (wills, trusts & estate law), and social media management. Prior involvement in university or community-based programs related to fundraising or volunteer management is advantageous. Pay:
