Maintenance Technician

Job Overview Congaree Golf Club is seeking a full-time Property & Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. Located 35-45 minutes from Bluffton, Beaufort, and Savannah , Congaree spans over 2,000 pristine acres and features a world-class golf course, private lodging, dining facilities, and exceptional hunting and fishing opportunities.

Responsibilities Maintain buildings and mechanical systems Perform HVAC and refrigeration maintenance Complete basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and carpentry repairs Assist with furniture and equipment moves Conduct pest control and preventative maintenance Perform general upkeep, landscaping, pressure washing, and assigned tasks Conduct building inspections and work assessments Maintain inventory of dry split wood Plant and manage wildlife food plots Support the early-release quail program Maintain fire breaks, fencing, roads, and trails Assist with controlled burns for wildlife and timber management Operate and maintain equipment (tractor, backhoe, etc.) Assist with guiding hunts (quail, deer, turkey, boar) Communicate effectively with team members Skills Strong attention to detail and safety Service-oriented with a friendly, professional attitude Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, welding, and low-voltage systems Experience in building or property maintenance preferred Requirements Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy Neat, professional appearance Ability to stand for long periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Valid driver's license with insurable record Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
