A Fundraising Manager manages fundraising for an organization. Develops and implements fundraising strategies that include online fundraising, mail and email campaigns, grant writing and fundraising events. May develop relationships with large donors.
CC Young , a vibrant senior living community and a non-profit leader in senior living and Health Care is seeking a Director of Development to be responsible for assisting the organization's fundraising, donor engagement, and resource development efforts. This position develops and implements comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure financial support from individuals, corporations, foundations, and community partners. The Director of Development works closely with organizational leadership, and key stakeholders to achieve annual fundraising goals and advance the mission of the organization.
Salary Range:
$100,000 - $115,000 annually
Reports To:
Vice President of Development Job duties include, but are not limited to: Fundraising & Revenue Generation Develop and execute annual fundraising plans to meet organizational revenue goals. Cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors, major donors, and prospective supporters. Manage annual giving campaigns, peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives, and special appeals. Identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities and revenue streams. Coordinate donor cultivation events and fundraising activities. Donor & Community Relations Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, corporate sponsors, foundations, and community leaders. Develop donor recognition and stewardship strategies to increase retention and engagement. Representing the organization at community events, networking functions, and donor meetings. Prepare donor communications, impact reports, and fundraising materials. Oversee the Volunteer program Grants & Corporate Partnerships. Oversee grant research, proposal development, submission, and reporting. Cultivate relationships with foundation and corporate funding partners. Collaborate with program staff to align funding opportunities with organizational priorities. Leadership & Administration Manage development operations, including donor database integrity and reporting. Process daily or weekly deposits. Prepare donor acknowledgment letters. Track fundraising performance and provide regular reports to leadership. Assist with development-related budgeting and forecasting.
Minimum qualifications include:
Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 years of nonprofit fundraising, development, or donor relations experience. Certified Fund-Raising Executive certification (CFRE) Demonstrated success in securing major gifts and building donor relationships. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with donor management software. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Preferred Experience supervising staff and volunteers. Knowledge of the Dallas philanthropic community. Experience managing grants and foundation relationships. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strategic fundraising and planning.
