This role creates, implements, and evaluates the development plan and strategies to exceed annual revenue budget and meets goals to increase and diversify annual revenues. This position works closely with the Chief Executive Officer to strengthen community relationships that advance our mission requiring occasional evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will promote and foster the organization's values of advocacy, integrity, innovation, people-first, and community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Development Identifies and develops new funding sources for CACGWTX while strengthening existing donor relationships and sustaining current funding Develops and executes a strategic fundraising plan that engages individuals, organizations, corporations, and foundations to raise a minimum of $500,000 annually Develops, cultivates, and expands donor support throughout all counties served by CACGWTX •Collaborates with the Executive Leadership Team to analyze and evaluate revenue and contribution trends Formulates innovative ideas and funding strategies for evaluation and potential implementation to secure additional funding Oversees the Community Development program including Development Staff Manages the donor platform database ensuring that data is maintained in an accurate, secure, and timely manner, and effectively utilized Supports the Chief Executive Officer in fostering culture of development and philanthropy among staff, the Board of Directors, and volunteers Trains, engages, and supports the Board of Directors in fund development Remains current on trends and developments in philanthropy and nonprofit fund development and advises the Chief Executive Officer on emerging opportunities and innovative strategies to strengthen fundraising efforts Outreach Maintains and grows relationships with donors and prospective donors through phone calls, personal meetings, and correspondence Serves as an organizational ambassador and nurtures community relationships in all counties served by CACGWTX Collaborates with the Chief Executive Officer to develop and participate in strategic networking and community engagement activities Event Management Oversees and implements the fundraising and special events of CACGWTX in collaboration with the Board of Directors' Donor Engagement Committee Develops and implements a plan to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of CACGWTX's fundraising activities Ensures fundraising efforts and donor outreach remain relevant and engaging to CACGWTX's current donor base while identifying and implementing innovative strategies to attract new donors Other responsibilities Represents the organization at community meetings, events, and networking opportunities Works closely with the Chief Executive Officer and leadership team to provide input in the strategic planning process Maintains a professional, organized environment in personal office Other duties as assigned by the

Chief Executive Officer Required/Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

Bachelor's or advanced degree, or equivalent experience required with Certified Fund Raising Executive or similar certification preferred 5+ years of experience with proven results in nonprofit fundraising, including major gifts, annual campaigns, prospect research, development staff management, grant writing, planned gifts, and donor relationship management; experience with over $1 million results with heavy individual funding recommended, not required Experience in budget management and forecasts Expertise in fundraising communications, written and oral Proven experience of working with a Board of Directors Organizational, decision-making, and conflict management skills Must possess excellent people and computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the ability to learn other computer programs applicable to the position Means and ability to travel to service areas as well as conferences and training Ability to work evenings, weekends as needed Must pass all criminal background and reference checks
