Job Description

Fund Development Manager Status:
Full-Time | Exempt Reports to: CEO Role Purpose The Fund Development Director leads a comprehensive fundraising strategy and revenue generation for the integrated Ozaukee Nonprofit Center and One Ozaukee operations. This role is responsible for building sustainable funding through individual giving, corporate partnerships, sponsorships, and fundraising campaigns that support both organizational operations and community investment. This position provides strategic fundraising leadership, oversees fundraising-related event support, and works closely with executive leadership, outreach, and marketing to advance mission impact. Primary Responsibilities Fundraising Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and execute an annual fund development plan aligned with organizational priorities
  • Establish revenue targets across individual giving, sponsorships, campaigns, and events
  • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities that support operational sustainability and community impact
  • Partner with the CEO on long-term funding strategy and financial planning Individual Giving & Donor Relationships
  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors
  • Manage donor pipelines and relationship strategies
  • Lead donor communications and stewardship efforts in collaboration with Marketing
  • Support donor engagement activities Sponsorships & Corporate Partnerships
  • Develop sponsorship strategies for events, programs, and initiatives
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with corporate and community partners
  • Coordinate sponsorship fulfillment with the Events & Space Coordinator and Marketing
  • Leverage community relationships identified by Outreach staff into funding opportunities Campaigns & Fundraising Events
  • Lead fundraising strategy for major campaigns and events
  • Support the CEO in setting fundraising goals and sponsorship structures for events
  • Supervise the Events & Space Coordinator to ensure logistical execution aligns with fundraising objectives
  • Monitor event performance and adjust strategies as needed
Note:
Event logistics and execution are managed by the Events & Space Coordinator. One Ozaukee Allocations & Community Investment
  • Oversee One Ozaukee allocation processes and disbursements
  • Ensure transparency, accountability, and alignment with community priorities
  • Coordinate with the CEO to evaluate funding impact Committee Engagement
  • Staff and support the Fundraising Committee
  • Provide regular fundraising reports and performance updates to the CEO
  • Support the CEO in board member fundraising education and engagement
