The Department of Talent & Organizational Development is currently seeking a full time Organizational Development Specialist 2 to work in Coral Gables.
CORE JOB SUMMARY
The Organizational Development Specialist 2 plans, manages and coordinates organization-wide and department-level learning and organizational development initiatives. This role supports the management and delivery of leadership and organizational development services to the organization. In addition, this job works closely with Human Resources Talent Acquisition and Client Services, as well as University partners to provide leadership development strategies that improve organizational performance and support key business objectives.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
Partners with managers and subject matter experts to develop learning and development opportunities that support strategic initiatives. Determines appropriate OD intervention methods (i.e. leadership coaching, teambuilding, E-learning, Simulations etc.) Develops and analyzes assessment instruments to determine learning and organizational development interventions that meet unit's goals. Identifies data collection tools, data sources, benchmarks, and performance targets. Facilitates leadership learning opportunities, teambuilding activities and business conversations for both small and large groups. Designs and conducts analysis of organization's systems to facilitate a service oriented culture. Designs, communicates and implements change and organizational alignment initiatives. Diagnoses potential organizational problem areas and makes recommendations for improvement. Consults with leadership about organizational issues. Assists in coaching managers, executives and teams regarding organizational development initiatives. Collaborates with Instructional Designers to develop learning opportunities based on identified needs. Links organizational development initiatives to broaden corporate goals, and measures initiative progress and success. Develops training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets. CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in relevant field required Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required

Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols, and adapt to changing priorities and work demands.
Teamwork:
Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment.
Technical Proficiency:
Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications.
Communication:
Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
