Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals, utilizing research and market insights. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, foundations, and community organizations through personalized engagement and excellent customer service. Write persuasive grant proposals and manage grant applications to secure funding from various sources, including government agencies and private foundations. Manage databases and CRM software such as Raiser's Edge or similar platforms to track donor information, donations, and communication history efficiently. Plan and execute fundraising campaigns across multiple channels including events, digital marketing, direct mail, and social media outreach. Conduct research on potential funding opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activities to inform strategic planning efforts. Prepare detailed reports on fundraising progress, donor engagement metrics, and campaign outcomes for internal review and stakeholder updates. Requirements Proven experience in fundraising, grant proposal writing, or relationship management within a nonprofit or similar environment. Strong knowledge of databases and CRM software such as Raiser's Edge or equivalent tools for managing donor information. Excellent research skills to identify new funding opportunities and develop targeted outreach strategies. Effective marketing skills to craft compelling messages that resonate with diverse audiences across various channels. Ability to develop strategic plans that align with organizational priorities while adapting to changing circumstances. Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—to foster relationships with donors, partners, and team members.
