Family Resource Coordinator Full-Time | 40 Hours per
Week Hiring Range:
$28.04 - $32.25 Hourly, non-exempt For almost than 70 years, Sherwood Community Services has been dedicated to empowering children, adults, and families experiencing disabilities to live meaningful lives and fully participate in their communities. We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and collaborative Family Resources Coordinator (FRC) to join our Early Supports for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) team. If you are passionate about supporting young children and helping families navigate services during the most important years of development, we would love to hear from you. About the Role As a Family Resources Coordinator, you will partner with families of children birth to age three who have developmental delays or disabilities. You will serve as a guide, advocate, and coordinator, helping families access services, community resources, and support systems that promote positive outcomes for their child and family. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and facilitate Early Supports for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) services Assist with developmental evaluations and communicate results to families and team members Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) Ensure services are delivered according to family priorities and ESIT requirements Connect families with community resources and support networks Coordinate transition planning with school districts and community partners Maintain accurate documentation and records Collaborate with therapists, educators, medical professionals, and caregivers Why Join Sherwood? Requirements:
What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications Professional certification, licensure, or degree in education, child development, social services, human services, or a related field Eligibility for Family Resources Coordinator certification through Washington State ESIT Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in early intervention, special education, family support, or related services Knowledge of community resources and disability services Experience working with infants, toddlers, and families Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
