Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead the daily operations of our inpatient behavioral health treatment center. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven healthcare leader with a strong background in residential behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while driving operational excellence. A clinical license is not required for this position; however, licensed behavioral health professionals in Arkansas are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and oversight of facility operations, clinical support services, and administrative departments. Foster a culture centered on patient care, accountability, teamwork, and regulatory compliance. Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements, Joint Commission/CARF standards, and all applicable federal regulations. Partner with clinical leadership to support quality improvement initiatives and positive patient outcomes. Oversee staffing, budgeting, census growth, financial performance, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with admissions, business development, and outreach teams to support sustainable census growth. Develop and mentor department leaders while promoting employee engagement and retention. Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Behavioral Health, or a related field preferred. Minimum 3+ years of executive or senior operational leadership experience in an inpatient behavioral health, psychiatric, or residential substance use treatment setting. Demonstrated success managing facility operations, budgets, regulatory compliance, and multidisciplinary teams. Strong knowledge of Joint Commission/CARF standards and behavioral healthcare regulations. Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Clinical licensure in Arkansas (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.) is a plus but not required.
