Position Overview The Assistant Manager plays a key leadership role in the day-to-day operations of the club. This position supports the General Manager in delivering an exceptional member experience, driving sales performance, managing staff, and maintaining a clean, safe, and motivating facility. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills, integrity, and a passion for fitness and people. Key Responsibilities Support the General Manager in daily club operations and overall performance Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve member concerns professionally Assist with staff training, scheduling, coaching, and accountability Help drive membership sales, retention, and revenue goals Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards Maintain club cleanliness, organization, and equipment standards Open and close the facility as required Monitor member engagement and create a welcoming, high-energy environment Assist with administrative tasks, reporting, and billing-related questions Qualifications & Skills Previous leadership or management experience (fitness or sales environment preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills High integrity, reliability, and professionalism Sales-driven mindset with the ability to motivate a team Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Comfortable handling difficult conversations and problem-solving Passion for health, fitness, and helping others succeed Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends What We Offer Competitive pay with performance-based incentives Complimentary or discounted gym membership Opportunities for career growth within Knockout Fitness Supportive, team-oriented culture A positive, high-energy work environment
